Mark Lang BDS, MSc, MJDF

Mark graduated from Glasgow University in 1991. In 2000, he completed his Masters in Dental Primary Care again at Glasgow University. Along with his wife Anna, he did his MJDF in 2009. He works in the Scottish Centre for Excellence in Dentisty and has an interest in Endodontics. He is a keen cyclist and thinks of himself as Dentistry's answer to Marco Pantani ("Il Pirata") but in reality he is really a MAMIL.

  
Raymond Murphy BDS, MJDF

Raymond graduated from Glasgow University in 1985. He has been the principle of Bothwell Dental Care since 1992 . He completed the MJDF programme in 2009 and this is now his third year as a tutor. His enthusiasm for the job makes him very popular with the candidates.

 
 
Eddie Bateman BDS, MJDF

Eddie graduated from Glasgow University in 2006. He works at L&H Dental Care, a private practice in  Hamilton. He completed the MJDF in 2009, and since then has been involved with the study group and with marking portfolios. He is starting an MSc in Primary Dental Care at Glasgow University this year. This is his first year as a tutor.

  
Bruce Hogan BDS, MJDF

Bruce qualified in 1987 and spent his first few years in hospital practice. He then moved into general dental practice and now runs his own private practice in the West End. He sat the MJDF last year and this is his first year as a tutor. Bruce is a keen teacher and is looking forward to this new challenge!

 
 
Paul Cooney BDS, MSc, MJDF

Paul graduated from Glasgow University in 1998. . He completed his Master’s Degree in Primary Dental Care at Glasgow University in 2003. . The same year, he became a partner at L&H Dental Care in Hamilton. He gained his MJDF from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2010.  Paul has been a vocational trainer and has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry.  He is an active member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Faculty of General Dental Practice. This is his first year as MJDF tutor.
