We're delighted to announce that Professor Saman Warnakulasuriya, Professor of Oral Medicine & Experimental Oral Pathology at the King's College London Dental Institute, and Graham Ogden, Professor of Oral Surgery at the University of Dundee, will present an oral medicine programme for hygienists, DCPs and dentists at study day 2012. As well as providing general oral medicine information they will focus on the risk factors and screening techniques for oral cancer.
We are delighted to have been able to support the Ben Walton Trust in 2011 and that they are our nominated charity for 2012. FGDP(UK) Scotland was able to hand over a cheque for £5,000 to help raise awareness of, and fund research into, oral cancer in young people.
